i recently stayed for 2 nights at a double room with a balcony and it exceeded my expectations! the meals were hearty, especially the homemade steak pie, and the staff was always ready to help. it was definitely a comforting stopover during my trip to gloucester.

Had a great time with friends! Enjoyed the local attractions like the scenic riverwalk and the historic cathedral. The rooms were well presented, and the breakfast was excellent. The bar staff were friendly and always ready to help. Be prepared for minor noise if the weather's warm, as windows may need to stay open! solid choice for a group getaway.

The stay included a comfortable and well-decorated room with plenty of space, perfect natural light, and a nice view of the trees. The breakfast served was outstanding, with ample choices tailored to individual tastes. the location, while scenic, was somewhat noisy due to traffic, which affected the overall relaxation. The food quality was unexpectedly mediocre, as it felt more like reheated meals despite the pleasant dining atmosphere.

Friendly vibes and comfy stay
Had a nice 2-night stay in a cozy triple room with a shower. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed a tasty breakfast each morning. Vicki, the landlady, was really friendly and made us feel welcome. Only issue was the Wi-Fi being a bit spotty sometimes, but overall, it didn’t ruin our fun. The bar area was a nice spot to chill too!

Pleasant staff made the experience slightly better.
My stay was marred by poor room conditions. The heater was broken, leaving the room freezing despite the cold weather. I felt neglected when I attempted to ask for help with basic needs, such as heating food or obtaining breakfast options. It was disheartening to battle the chill and hunger without assistance.
